I live in northeastern Oregon, the Pacific coast state between California & Washington.
My undergrad degrees are in history & biology from a university in California. I studied the history of science in grad school in England.
I've worked as an economic planner, college teacher, real estate developer, ranch manager, stock trader & writer, currently working on my second novel & many other projects.
I take care of my elderly father & cared for my mom before her death. I'm amicably divorced, without children of my own.
I co-founded an air museum in Oregon & enjoy outdoor activities, especially lately sailing with friends.
I went to Peru in 2004, to Afghanistan in 2005 (to cover a National Guard helicopter unit fighting there) & to Baja California, Mexico last winter. Plan on travel to Argentina this year. Or maybe The Philippines! |
